Opening November 2 · A daily golf strategy game
One hole a day.
No mulligans.
Everyone plays the same hole with the same golfer. Pick your club and your line, then swing. You get one official try a day, so every decision counts.
No. 001 tees off in
The first hole goes live at midnight Pacific on Monday, November 2, right here: free, in your browser, with no download.
A first look
Played in your browser
These are from the game in testing. On a phone or a computer, it'll be the same game, the same hole and the same look. You'll play straight away with no account, or sign in with an email code to keep your rounds on every device.
How it plays
Pick a club. Drag to aim. Hold to swing.
There's no timing and no power meter. Every shot lands somewhere inside its club's realistic spread, as in real golf, and you play the next one from wherever it finishes. Choosing the target is the game.
-
1
Pick a club
Driver to lob wedge, each with its true carry. Wedges also take shorter swings.
-
2
Drag to aim
Put the target anywhere. The yardage book gives the distance to the pin, the water, the sand and the green on your line.
-
3
Hold to swing
The ball flies, bounces and rolls on real terrain in the day's wind. Putting is automatic and depends on distance and slope.
The standard golfer
A 5-handicap with a 250-yard driver, the same for everyone. Your own swing isn't part of it, so a 25-handicap can beat a scratch golfer.

Scoring
Every decision rated
Once a shot lands, it's rated by what the decision cost against the best play found, with the reason. Your score is the story; your choices rank the board.
- Best playThe best play the game found. It shows only after the hole.
- Good playClose enough that it barely matters.
- Questionable playThere was a better line, and it cost you a little.
- Costly playA real price in strokes, on average.
- Big mistakeThe water was always there.
The holes
Fifty holes at launch
Famous holes from the US and the UK; the classics every architect borrowed from, like the Redan, the Eden, the Cape and the Punchbowl; a real club's full eighteen; and originals of our own. Each one is drawn as an illustrated yardage book on real, playable terrain.
A hole rests for two months before it comes back, with a new pin and new conditions.
- TodayThe day's hole. One official try, then replay it as practice as often as you like.
- ClubhouseToday's board, the week, your friends and the Honors Board.
- LibraryThe great architects as a collector set of cards, and a shelf of classic holes.
- LockerYour scorebook, member's card, record and stats.
